OVERVIEW: The ISM600 is an intermittent motion sachet packaging machine specifically engineered for liquid filling applications. MOTION SYSTEM: The machine employs a servo-driven linear unit for high-precision motion control. Upper and lower travel limits are regulated by a pneumatic system that is synchronized with the servo drive. At the upper position, the horizontal jaws perform sealing while simultaneously pulling the film downward. The film pulling stage is completed at the lower position, which is adjustable via the HMI panel to define the mechanical package length. When utilizing printed film in conjunction with the photocell feature, the horizontal jaws open prior to the lower sensor position, ensuring precise cut-off registration. FILM HANDLING SYSTEM: The ISM600 accommodates film rolls up to 600mm in width. The reel stand, strategically located at the rear of the machine, features an air-shaft-based film changing system equipped with a pneumatic O-ring braking mechanism to maintain tension. The packaging film is guided from the reel stand over a series of rollers towards the vertical sealing jaws, ensuring stable and consistent film progression. Both the cutting blade and the photocell sensor are conveniently mounted on the reel stand for simplified access and maintenance. CUTTING SYSTEM: The cutting unit is equipped with a standard zigzag serrated cut, providing reliable and clean sachet separation. Straight-cut configurations are available through optional attachments to suit specific product requirements. CONTROL SYSTEM: The machine incorporates a user-friendly HMI panel designed for intuitive operation. This system includes manual output test and motor jogging functions to facilitate efficient maintenance procedures. Comprehensive alarm management is provided, immediately notifying the operator in case of operational irregularities. Production management is streamlined with a target quantity function, which allows the machine to either continue operation with an automatic reset or stop completely upon reaching the pre-set count. Remote software support is provided as a standard feature via an industrial VPN router, offering unlimited, free connectivity during the warranty period. Optional hardware enables recipe management for saving and loading production settings. MECHANICAL DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION: The ISM600 is constructed with a robust painted steel chassis, delivering structural stability essential for medium-speed production requirements. DOCUMENTATION AND WARRANTY: Comprehensive user manuals, electrical diagrams, spare parts catalogues, and all technical documentation are provided digitally. These documents are accessible indefinitely via a QR code located on the machine. A 10-year warranty is provided for PLC and HMI panel software integrity, contingent upon the continued production of the utilized devices by their respective manufacturers.
