Horizontal Sachet Machine

OVERVIEW: The HSM, Horizontal Sachet Packaging Machine, is specifically engineered for filling and packaging applications to produce 3 or 4 side sealed sachets. MECHANICAL CONSTRUCTION: The machine features an easily accessible open frame design. Reduced sharp edges and corners in the mechanical design enhance both operator safety and contamination prevention. Heating cable connections are designed with optimal protection. Horizontal sealers do not require balancing adjustment. MATERIALS AND FINISH: All machine parts are finished with anodization, coating, or galvanization. For non-SS304 frame configurations, the machine is supplied in blue (RAL 9016) and white (RAL 5002) colors. DRIVE AND MOTION SYSTEM: The machine's primary motion, including sealers, film pulling, and cutting stations, is driven by a robust cam system. The film unwinding and brake system is powered by either AC or Servo motor technology. FILM HANDLING: An automatic film unwinder is integrated. Film roll changeover is facilitated by an air shaft for ease and speed. Sachet width can be controlled either by a mark sensor or precisely adjusted via the Touch panel. CONTROL SYSTEM: The control system incorporates a user-friendly Touch panel design. PID technology is utilized for precise temperature control. Recipes can be easily saved and loaded for efficient changeovers. The machine features manual output test and motor jogging functions for diagnostic and setup purposes. Air pressure is tracked with trend display functionality on the Touch panel. The machine provides alarm notifications to the operator for any abnormal conditions. An alarm is activated when the pre-set number of packages, adjusted on the Touch panel, is reached. PERFORMANCE AND FLEXIBILITY: The machine offers the capability to change both the width and length of sachet packages within its specified limits. It delivers clean and straight horizontal and vertical cutting without tearing. Sealing pressure can be adjusted with ease and precision. Bespoke sealing shapes are available. An optional tear notch feature is available for easy opening of sachets. SAFETY FEATURES: The electrical system fully complies with European safety standards (CE). Safety-certified cabinet switches and control devices are integrated. EASE OF USE AND MAINTENANCE: Mark sensor adjustment is easily accessible. Knife changeover is designed for simplicity. Sealers are designed to open widely, facilitating easy cleaning. PNEUMATIC SYSTEM: All pneumatic products integrated into the machine are supplied by SMC® and FESTO. Required air quality for operation is clean, dry air according to DIN 8573-1. An uninterrupted air flow is essential. It is the customer's responsibility to determine the required air quality in function of their specific process requirements. The warranty for all pneumatic parts will be voided if the specified air quality is not consistently used. DOCUMENTATION AND SUPPORT: Software support is provided via an industrial VPN Router as a standard feature. All internet connections for support are unlimited and free of charge for the lifetime of the machine. A comprehensive user's manual is supplied with the machine. Spare parts catalogs and mechanical dismantling drawings are provided. An electrical plan is included. WARRANTY: A 10-year warranty is provided for PLC and Touch panel software saving.
