Mentpack SPM320 Stick Packaging Machine - Technical Description The Mentpack SPM320 series represents an advanced cost-performance stick packaging solution, engineered for efficiency, precision, and ease of operation. Its design enables a single operator to manage multiple machines, optimizing labor and space utilization. 1. Design & Construction Chassis Material: Constructed from SS304 stainless steel. Component Materials: All machine parts are either coated or made from stainless steel (SS304, 316L, 316T). Aluminium components use grades 5754 or 7075. Architecture: Features a simple, compact mechanical architecture with an easily accessible open frame design. Dimensions: Compact machine footprint for space efficiency. Energy Consumption: Designed for reduced energy consumption. 2. Reel System Reel Width: Supports a maximum reel width of 320mm. Location: Reel system is positioned on the front left side of the machine for quick and easy access during operation. Film Changing: Equipped with an airshaft-based film changing system. Braking System: Utilizes a pneumatic O-ring brake system for precise film tension control. 3. Sealing System Jaw Movement: Both vertical and horizontal jaws enable the sealing process through pneumatic movement. Horizontal Jaw Function: Horizontal jaws catch the film at the upper level position. Vertical Jaw Temperature Control: Vertical jaw temperatures are controlled and managed by two independent temperature probes, one for the right side and one for the left side. 4. Optional Flat Cutting System: An optional flat cutting system can be integrated as a separate station. In this configuration, sealing and length adjustment are completed in distinct stations from the cutting process. 6. Control System & HMI HMI Panel: User-friendly HMI (Human Machine Interface) panel design. Package Length Adjustment: Package length can be adjusted via photocell mark recognition or by direct entry of settings on the HMI panel. Air Pressure Monitoring: Air pressure can be monitored with a trend display directly on the HMI panel. Alarm System: The machine operator is immediately informed of any alarm conditions through the HMI. Recipe System (Optional): An optional recipe system is available for saving and loading program settings, requiring special hardware. 7. Software & Connectivity Remote Support: Software support via the internet is facilitated by an industrial VPN router. Internet Connectivity: Unlimited and free internet connections are provided during the warranty period.
